The leading specialist is in international transport finance. The Bank’s financial services can largely be allocated to six value-adding areas. We support clients in our Shipping Finance, Aviation Finance, Offshore Finance and Land Transport Finance divisions in the key product areas of Structured Asset Lending, Asset Management, Client Account, Risk Distribution & Loan Participations, Corporate Finance Solutions, and Private Equity Sourcing & Investments.

Responsibilities
24 months Trainee program will lay the foundation for an exciting future with DVB. The program offers placements across the range of commercial areas within your specialist transportation field. You will learn from some of the best in the business, while working on world-class projects. You will also have first-class professional training and the chance to gain experience in locations around the world in real roles and with real responsibilities. International rotations that could see you spend time in some of the following: Structured Lending, Investment Management, Research, Advisory/Corporate Finance, Asset Management.

Qualifications
The International Trainee Program is open to students in their final year of university or who have already graduated and gained some industry experience. We welcome both Bachelors and Masters students with:
  •  Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2:1 pass grade in a finance- or transportation-related subject;
  • Minimum of twelve months experience within Banking/Finance (within Transportation is preferred);
  • International experience gained through education, personal or work endeavors;
  • Internationally mobile;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Pro-active/performance-driven;
  • Team worker;
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills;
  • Good command of the English language and at least one or more other international languages would be beneficial.
