Responsibilities
Engineers work with operating units to maximise profit by improving efficiencies and ensuring plants operate at desired target levels. An integral part of the work would involve new technology development and implementation as well as plant consulting. Additionally, engineering assignments also cover process basis setting and process design for capital projects as well as construction and start-up activities. Material inventory management and service agreement negotiations are other examples of work assignments.
