Responsibilities
  • Support the Portfolio Manager and analysts on research and analysis on diverse sectors/industries in Pan-Asia equity market space
  • Committing your daily efforts to the highest levels of professionalism, integrity and excellence
  • Conducting industry and company-specific research
  • Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all deliverables
  • Supporting fundamental research into companies, industries and sectors
  • Reporting on topics such as general economic and industry-specific developments and trends
  • Understanding and living Point72’s ethical decision-making approach and its compliance program 
Qualifications
  • GPA : minimum 3.0Prefer the following disciplines: finance, quantitative finance degrees, statistics, business administration, accountancy or financial engineering
  • Prefer someone who has participated in investment/stock competitions (CFA University Challenge etc.) 
  • Are mature, extremely bright and self-motivated
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn
  • Have a fierce commitment to acting with professional and integrity at all times
  • Can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Have a strong analytical, writing, verbal communication and technical skills
  • Knowledgeable in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Programming/VBA, etc
  • Previous internship experiences in investment banking, corporate finance, M&A or valuation
  • Mandarin or Korean reading, writing, speaking highly advantageous
