Responsibilities
The intern can expect to gain first-hand exposure to a broad range of investment-related work, include on-the-job training in portfolio analysis, fundamental research and strategy setting. The internship is 10 week (between May 16 and July 22, 2016)
  • Create a Credit surveillance framework. Translate analysis into executable trading options/solutions to capture alpha.
  • Maintain a Performance attribution framework or return analysis to identity key investment risk contributors
  • Maintain portfolio position and benchmark database. Produce daily reports.
  • Update investment guideline summary.
  • Adjust portfolios for cash inflows, outflows, or changes in investment guidelines so that term structure position and the type of securities invested are in accordance with the firm’s strategy.
  • Assist with structuring and restructuring portfolios by selecting yield curve exposure and securities, such that the portfolios are consistent within the same investment mandate and with the firm’s investment strategies.
  • Participate in Asia strategy meeting as a member of the Emerging Markets Asia strategy team.
Qualifications
Bright, motivated, talented individuals to join us and make contributions both individually and as a team member. Qualified candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or Master program majoring in Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy, Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, or a related course.
